Volunteering at CitC
Making counselling accessible to all
We can only make Counselling accessible to all with your help.
Counselling in the community is a voluntary-led organisation based in Blackpool and Fleetwood.
We have a mix of both qualified and placement Counsellors and we are always looking for students to join us as they train to become qualified therapists.
There are over 70 volunteers here at CitC coming from a wealth of local and not so local learning establishments.
At CITC we are always looking to grow our team and currently we have the space for more qualified counsellors.
In return for volunteering your valuable time we will offer you a room free of charge to offer your own private practice in a safe and secure environment.
If this is of interest to you please do get in touch for an informal discussion.
There is never a dull day here at CITC and we are now needing some more volunteer admin support.
We are on the lookout for someone who is friendly and approachable, who can take bookings, deal with general enquiries and knows their way around a PC.
We have a flexible approach, so let us know when you are free to lend a hand.
As the service continues to grow we need additional funding to help keeping the doors open and are now looking for help with this.
Are you outgoing, able to pick up the phone to local businesses, help organise events and fundraisers?
If this is a yes then please do get in touch or pop in for a chat.
We are looking for a content writer to compose applications for grants and bids to help us continue to offer our service to the communities we serve.
We are seeking someone with experience however will consider applicants who are working towards a relevant subject or whose values align strongly with the needs of the charity.
Able to work to deadlines and use own initiative.
To apply please email telling us about yourself.
